You’ve probably used our products hundreds of times without even realising it. Almost every time you screw a cap on, put a lid on something or close a drink, you’re using a GA Plastics product.

We specialise in plastic injection moulding and produce a wide range of closures for various industries including the tubing industry, lids for the beverage industry and sterile testing containers for the medical industry. We’re also able to manufacture (and repair) moulds which our clients use to run their own production.

Although we were officially founded in 1996, our toolroom has been moulding since 1969 and offers full product design facilities. We’re dedicated to building strong partnerships with our clients and suppliers, providing you with high quality products and services.

How the process works

Plastic granules are melted and then injected, under pressure, to fill a mould. Once the plastic in the mould has cooled and hardened, the injection mould opens and the part is removed. The process then repeats, allowing you to rapidly produce large quantities of accurate replicas. (e.g. 10 000 lids for toothpaste tubes).
